HAMILTON, N.Y. (4/5/07) – The Colgate University women’s tennis team dropped a 5-2 match to Bucknell University on Saturday, April 5. The Bison claimed the doubles point and won four of the six singles matches.
Sophomore
Cameron Williams (Winnetka, Ill.) took down Carlin Calcaterra at No. 4 singles, 7-5, 6-0.
Classmate
Samantha Inacker (Lake Forest, Ill.) picked up Colgate’s second point at No. 2 singles. Inacker defeated Paulina Gamboa, 6-2, 7-6 (4).
The Raiders are now 8-6 overall and even at 1-1 in Patriot League action, while the Bison are 6-6 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
Colgate will face Fairfield on Sunday, April 6 for a non-conference match at noon.
