Sixty-one seconds later, Stephany McKee cut Colgate’s lead to one on a goal that was set up by Tiffany Grossi. Grossi scored one of her own with 4:51 left to knot the score at 10-all. Borneman beat Raider freshman goalkeeper Amanda Gurin (Scarsdale, N.Y.) with 1:45 remaining in regulation to lift her Explorers to victory. Grossi finished with a game-high three goals along with an assist.

Colgate’s offensive effort was led by junior Lindsay Pittard (Skaneateles, N.Y.), who contributed two goals and two assists. Sophomore Molly Carroll (Swarthmore, Pa.) chipped in an assist to go with a team-high six groundballs and six draw controls.

Raider sophomore goalie Sara Drexler (Pottstown, Pa.) made six saves in the first half before being replaced by Gurin, who made two saves in the second. LaSalle’s Chantelle McCormick earned the victory after making five stops in each half for a total of 10 saves on the day. Colgate edged LaSalle in shots, 24-21, as well as in groundballs, 21-17.
