BOSTON, Mass. (10/21/07) - The Colgate women's swimming team finished first and second in 200 free relay, the last event of the meet, to squeeze out a 148-146 win at Boston University on Sunday, Oct. 21.

Stephen Jungbluth split up his "A" and "B" relays to even the strengths of the foursomes and go for the one-two finish, and his strategy paid off. The two relays finished within 0.87 seconds of each other, with the quartet of sophomores

Erin McGraw (Penfield, N.Y.) combined to take second place in 1:38.97, beating out BU's top relay by just 0.36 seconds to clinch the meet victory.
Guyett continued to dominate in the 1,000 free, earning her third straight win in the event, posting a time of 10:28.14. She also won the 500 free with a time of 5:08.54. Walker won both backstroke events, finishing the 100 back in 59.25 and the 200 in 2:08.56. McGraw took gold in both butterfly events, touching the wall in 56.52 in the 100 fly, and finishing the 200 fly in 2:06.32.
Emily Murphy won the 100 breast, posting a time of 1:07.28, and was also first in the 50 free, finishing in 24.35.
Sciarrino posted a personal-best time of 2:16.72 in the 200 back, and freshman
Emily Kelly (Potomac, Md.) recorded a lifetime-best time of 5:10.32 in the 500 free to come in third.
The Raiders face their first Patriot League competition of the season on Saturday, Nov. 3, when they visit Lehigh for a double-dual meet with the host Mountain Hawks and Navy.
