CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. (10/20/07) - The Colgate women's swimming and diving team lost a close decision to Boston College, 152-142, in dual meet action on Saturday, Oct. 20.

Freshmen Caren Guyett (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) and Erin McGraw (Penfield, N.Y.), along with junior Beverly Walker (Marietta, Ga.), were all double winners. Guyette took gold in the 500 and 1,000 free, and was second in the 200 free. Walker won both backstroke events, and McGraw was victorious in the 200 fly and 400 IM.

Junior Emily Murphy (Syracuse, N.Y.) won the 100 breast, and sophomore Caitlin Curran (Alpharetta, Ga.) made it a Raider sweep in the stroke with a win in the 200 breast.

Colgate also won both relay events. Junior Ashley Bottger (Weston, Conn.), McGraw, Walker, and Emily Murphy teamed up to take the 200 free relay, while freshman Emily Kelly (Potomac, Md.), senior Kacy Reams (Evanston, Ill.), and sophmore Kate Murphy (Williamsburg, Va.) and Sarah Sciarrino (Buffalo, N.Y.) won the 200 medley relay.
