HAMILTON, N.Y. (8/28/06) – Colgate head football coach Dick Biddle has announced that senior quarterback Mike Saraceno (Sunrise, FL), senior strong safety Geoff Bean (Oneonta, NY) and senior center Jake Sulovski (Hampton, NJ) have been elected tri-captains for the 2006 football season.

 

Saraceno was a co-captain last season, while Bean and Sulovski have moved into a leadership role for the first time.  This trio has combined to play in 91 games for the Raiders.

 

Colgate opens its season on Saturday, Sept. 2, when the Raiders travel to 10^th ranked University of Massachusetts.  Kickoff is 1 p.m. at McGuirk Stadium.
