The Bison dominated the first game against the Raiders, hitting .308 and never sacrificing the lead. The second game proved to be very different as Colgate built a 21-14 lead. Bucknell battled back to tie the game at 25 apiece before the Raiders used a 4-1 run to take a 29-26 advantage. The Bison held strong, staving off the game point and scoring three consecutive points and six of the game’s final seven points to win 32-30.

The third outing was a tight affair, featuring 14 ties and five lead changes. Trading points throughout much of the game, Colgate was able to push its lead to three at 25-22, but Bucknell once again answered with three straight points to tie the contest at 25. It was back and forth action for the next few points before the Bison broke the 28-28 tie with a kill from Jenna Henderson to set up the 31-29 victory.

Henderson led all hitters with a match-high 21 kills and also picked up nine digs. Amanda Grossman added nine kills for the Bison. Shannon Pitsch sparked the attack for Bucknell with a match-best 50 assists, while Kristen Sydlowski anchored the defensive effort with 19 digs.
