Chones knocked down a pair from the charity stripe at 2:55 to push the advantage back to seven, but a jumper from Michael Giovacchini with 51 ticks on the clock made it a 25-20 game at halftime.
Colgate pushed the lead back to eight points, 28-20, to start the second half but Dartmouth responded with a 10-2 run to tie the game at 30 with 15:36 left in the frame. It was all Raiders after that as the Colgate defense put the clamps down on the Big Green.
