At the 30-minute mark, Larry Mark picked up a Garth Juckem lead pass and outraced his defender to beat Colgate’s Doug Litvack (Levittown, N.Y./Long Island Lutheran) to the far post to put American up 2-0.
Colgate's Bryant Meckley (Hanover, Pa./Southwestern) scored his fourth goal of the season when he found himself alone at the top of the right corner of the box and buried a low rolling shot to the corner of the net to bring the Raiders within one at the 34-minute mark. The senior midfielder, has scored a goal in three of the Raiders’ last four contests. Devin Deane (Oswego, N.Y./Oswego) was credited with the assist.
