HAMILTON, N.Y. - Colgate University director of athletic communications Bob Cornell announced today the addition of live stats to the official Colgate athletics website, www.goColgateRaiders.com. The live stats feature will be available for the remaining home games of the football, field hockey and volleyball teams, as well as for all home men’s and women’s ice hockey games. “This is a great addition to the website for several reasons,” Cornell said. “For those teams that already have radio webcasts available on our site for their games, it’s a great supplement to the audio description of the game. For those games when we don’t have webcasts available, fans who can’t see the game in person can know what’s going on as it happens on the court, field or ice.” Some of the features of the live stats include a “quick stats” summary on the main page, individual stats for the game, a team stats summary, and a play-by-play summary separated by half, game or period for field hockey, volleyball and hockey. The football live stats page features a stats summary on the main page, team stats, individual offensive and defensive stats, drive and scoring summaries, and a play-by-play summary separated by quarter. Links to the live stats pages can be found on the individual sport pages of Colgate’s athletic website, as well as on the right side of the main page of the website.
