McPherson scored a career-high two goals in the first period from the blueline in Colgate's 5-0 blanking of Sacred Heart in the home opener. He added an assist in the third period for three points and finished with a goal and an assist on the power play. The three points were a career-high and his is now fifth on the team in scoring and first among defensemen.
