DeRoo set a new school-record and finished second overall in the Gold Race of the Paul Short Run with a time of 20:10 in the 6K. She finished six seconds behind No. 6 Georgetown’s Emily Infeld, a five-time All-American, who finished eighth at the NCAA Championship last season.
