Sophomore Elise DeRoo (Newtown, Conn.) brought home the individual title at the Harry Lang Invitational, recording the second best time ever at the meet. DeRoo crossed the line in 16:09, just one second behind the course record posted by junior Stacey Marion (West Simsbury, Conn.) in 2007.
