Miller collected both Patriot League Player and Rookie of the Week honors after a stellar offensive week. Miller hit .500 (5-for-10) with three home runs, two doubles and five RBI against regular-season champion Lehigh. All five of her hits against the Mountain Hawks were extra-base knocks as she slugged 1.600 on the weekend.
The outfielder started the weekend with a 2-for-4 effort at the plate thanks to a pair of home runs in game one. Miller then helped Colgate hand Lehigh is first run-rule loss against a Patriot League opponent since 2009 when she went 2-for-3 with two doubles and a run scored against Patriot League Pitcher of the Year Christine Campbell in the 8-0 game-two victory. The Oviedo, Fla. native closed out the weekend by hitting another home run in game three.
