Cooper recorded a pair of personal records at the Phoenix Invitational in Elon, North Carolina over the weekend in each of her events. Cooper was fourth in the shot put with a throw of 12.17 meters for the third longest in program history. Cooper followed that throw up with a hammer throw of 42.32 meters; good for sixth in the meet but the fifth best hammer throw in program history.
