Rayman had a big week in Colgate's games at Penn State and Columbia as the first-year averaged 20.5 points per game. He put forth a monster effort at Penn State as the Raiders found themselves within four points of the Big Ten’s Nittany Lions with five minutes remaining in the game. The New York, N.Y. native recorded 28 points at PSU on 10-for-16 shooting and a 5-for-8 effort from three-point range. Rayman followed that with a 13-point performance in an overtime loss at Columbia. He came close to breaking former Colgate All-American and NBA player Adonal Foyle’s freshman single-game scoring record of 32 points.
