Rachel Thompson earned The Rock Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors after combining for 30 points on 12-of-16 shooting and grabbing 12 rebounds. Thompson helped push Colgate to a near victory Friday at Providence, scoring 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting. Sunday at St. Bonaventure, Thompson fought through early foul trouble to score eight of her 10 points in the third quarter as Colgate tried to rally from a halftime deficit. Thompson started both games for the Raiders.
