Kulter earned Patriot League Tournament MVP honors after helping the men's soccer team claim its sixth-ever Patriot League Championship. He established a new tournament record of five goals scored throughout three postseason games. The Lansing, N.Y. native began the week by recording the first hat trick in Patriot League Tournament history in Colgate's 3-2 quarterfinal win over Army Tuesday. He scored Colgate's first goal in the Raiders' 3-1 semifinal win against Loyola Friday. His big week culminated Sunday when he netted the lone goal for the Raiders in their 1-1 tie at the conclusion of double-overtime with American in the tournament championship. Kutler then converted Colgate's first penalty kick in a 5-4 shootout victory that secured the Raiders' sixth-ever league title. Kutler earned College Soccer News National Player of the Week honors for his efforts.
