Swopshire posted a career-best scoring night on Saturday to end Colgate Men's Basketball's three-game losing skid. He matched his career-high from long distance with five makes in the contest. He also led the team in rebounding with nine boards, while playing a season-best 36 minutes. Prior to Saturday's game, Swopshire earned 16 points in a heartbreaking three-point loss to Loyola on Monday. The sophomore went 6-for-9 from the line, which was just one attempt shy of matching his career-high. The O'Fallon, Mo., native has tallied 14 double-digit scoring nights in Colgate's 23 games so far. He sits second on the team, averaging 10.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. With his three blocks last week, Swopshire moved his season number to six, which is good for fourth on the team. His 49.9 shooting percentage from behind-the-arc currently leads the league, while his 2.1 treys made per game has him eighth.
