Bobby Alter was victorious in both of his matches to help Colgate open the spring portion of its schedule with a 5-2 victory over St. Bonaventure Jan. 31 at the Turning Stone Casino Sportsplex.

Teamming up with Nick Laub, Alter posted a 6-4 victory in the No. 2 doubles position. In singles play, the Hinsdale, Ill., product cruised to a straight sets victory (6-2, 6-4) in the No. 4 singles match.
