HAMILTON – Following a successful 2021 spring season, the Colgate golf team recognized three standout performers on the course, in the classroom, and in the community with its annual team awards.

Colgate competed in six events this spring, starting with a 293-296 victory over Holy Cross in the Battle at Troy on March 27. The Raiders hosted the Upstate Spring Escape at Seven Oaks Golf Course and saw Dugan McCabe take home Rookie of the Year honors at the Patriot League championship May 1-2.

“This past year was certainly one like we’ve never experienced before,” Men’s Golf Coach Keith Tyburski said. “The team worked hard throughout and always supported one another. We were extremely grateful to have three wonderful senior leaders in Alex, Andrew and Connor. They did a great job of leading the younger guys and helping them navigate unprecedented times.”

“We are extremely grateful for the administration, staff, and the entire campus community for their hard work and dedication during the past year,” Tyburski said.

“The team is looking forward to relaxing this summer, and spending time to refresh and relax. We are excited to get back to campus and get to work this fall.”
