HAMILTON – The Colgate men’s basketball team honored its historic season by unveiling its 2020-21 team award winners on Thursday with five players earning recognition.

Colgate brought the Patriot League title back to Hamilton for the second time in three years behind a 14-2 record, tying the program record for best single-season win percentage.

The Raiders secured their highest seed in the NCAA tournament, checking in at No. 14, and once again shined on the national stage against No. 10 Arkansas. Colgate led by as many as 14 in the first half and pulled in front again by six in the second half before succumbing late to the eventual Elite 8 participants.

This year’s senior class reached the Patriot League championship game in each of their four years, becoming the first class to do so in conference history. The Raiders since 2017 have accomplished two 20-win seasons, two regular season titles, and two NCAA tournament bids.

Since 2018, Colgate's .741 winning percentage is the 17th best mark in the country. The Raiders are 63-22 overall and 38-10 in Patriot League play during that stretch.
