Women's Lacrosse to Take to Andy Kerr Stadium

Raiders to Play at Andy Kerr Stadium for 2020 Campaign

HAMILTON – Colgate women's lacrosse will have a new home for the 2020 campaign. For their seven home matchups, the Raiders will take to Crown Field at Andy Kerr Stadium.

Previously playing on soccer's Beyer-Small '76 field surface, the women's lacrosse program joins men's lacrosse on the football field turf this season. In addition to a 10,221 seating capacity, the Raiders will have the benefits of a new videoboard system for added in-game experience.

The new HD quality-videoboard at Andy Kerr Stadium installed over the summer stands at 50 feet wide by 30 feet tall, integrating scoreboard, videoboard, and advertising technology all in one.

The Raiders open the season on Saturday, Feb. 8 as they host Marist, a team they have gone 6-0 against since 2007. In back-to-back home games, the Raiders welcome Wagner (Feb. 29) before hosting Cornell in the Route 13 Rivalry on Tuesday, March 3.

Patriot League play opens for the squad on Saturday, March 14 as the Raiders host Boston University, a team they defeated in the Patriot League Quarterfinals last season. Other league matchups at Andy Kerr Stadium are to include Army (March 21), Bucknell (March 25), and defending Patriot League Champion Loyola on April 4.

Senior Day for the Raiders is scheduled for April 18 when the team hosts American in the final home game of the regular season. Chances for extra lacrosse at Andy Kerr could come in the postseason as the Patriot League Quarterfinals take place at the top-four programs on April 26.
