Tom Dowler led Colgate’s football team to an 8-1 record in his senior year while making a touchdown in the first five minutes of every game played in 1929. He also was the leading scorer in the East and ranked second nationally in 1929. Dowler was a member of the East squad in the annual East-West clash. He lettered three years in football, basketball and baseball.
