Tara McGoff had a brilliant softball career for the Raiders. She was two-time Patriot League Pitcher of the Year and four-time first team allleague pitcher. At the conclusion of her career, she held Colgate’s career records for wins (59), ERA (1.74), complete games (89), strikeouts (476) and shutouts (16). At the plate she was fourth in runs scored (74), second in hits (145), 13th in RBI’s (44), and third in doubles (26). In Patriot League play, McGoff was the career leader in games pitched (116), games started (103), complete games (89), victories (59) and innings pitched (744). She was named to the Patriot League AllDecade team. McGoff was also second team all-Patriot League outfielder in 1998 and co-MVP of the 1997 Patriot League Tournament. In 2015, she was named to the Patriot League 25th all-anniversary softball team.
