Martha Kurtz won four letters in field hockey (1976-79) and three in lacrosse (1978-80). In her senior year, the former Colgate tri-captain led the field hockey team to a second place finish in the AIAW Division II Nationals. As a junior she set a school record for shutouts with nine helping her team finish second in the NYSAIAW and third in the EAIAW Tournaments. Kurtz was a member of the US National Team from 1978-82.
