Little coached volleyball at Colgate for 17 seasons and softball for its first seven varsity seasons, posting won-lost records of 385-219 (.637) for volleyball and 66-59 (.528) for softball. The 385 wins are the most of any volleyball coach in Colgate history, and Little was 1991 Patriot League Coach of the Year. The Raiders won the inaugural Patriot League tournament in 1990 and captured the 1991 regular season crown. Before that, Little coached Colgate to three consecutive Colonial League titles. After coaching, Little advanced in Colgate's administration to Senior Associate Athletics Director and Interim Athletics Director.
