Howard Bollerman played three years of varisty basketball and served as captain in his senior year. At the conclusion of the 1928-29 season, he received All-America honors. Considered Colgate’s first good big man at 6-7 1/2, Bollerman went on to an outstanding scholastic coaching career. After serving as a teacher-coach at Bound Brook High School from 1929-37, he later moved to Hackensack High School where he won two state championships in 1945 and 1952.
