Clint Blume was an outstanding pitcher during the 1920 and 1921 seasons for the Red Raiders. He received first team All-America honors in 1921. During his senior year, he signed a professional contract with the New York Giants. Blume pitched for the World Champion Giants in 1922 under coach John McGraw. His big league career spanned eight years, including three with the Brooklyn Dodgers.
