Brian Edgerly was an outstanding student-athlete during his undergraduate days. He lettered in soccer, hockey and baseball. In his senior year, he served as co-captain of soccer, assistant captain of hockey and captain of baseball. In 1964, Edgerly was named to the third-team All-America baseball squad, when he led the nation in hitting with a .449 average. An outfielder and pitcher, he was a member of the United States Baseball Federation Unofficial Olympic Team in 1965. While at Colgate he was selected for inclusion in Who’s Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
