Adonal Foyle played three seasons of basketball with the Raiders between 1995-97 leading Colgate to its only two appearances ever in the NCAA Tournament. He earned second team All-America honors by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association and third team All-America by the Associated Press in 1997. Foyle finished his collegiate career as Colgate’s second all-time leading scorer with 1,776 points and leading rebounder with 1,103. The two-time Patriot League Player of the Year was the NCAA all-time blocked shot leader with 492 at the time of his graduation. In his last season with the Raiders, Foyle was a finalist for the John R. Wooden and USBWA Player of the Year honors. He was the eighth pick overall in the 1997 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors. Foyle was also a top-notch student-athlete earning first team University-Division CoSIDA Academic All-America honors in 1997. He was the 1996 Patriot League Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year. In 2002, Foyle became the fourth player in Colgate history to have his basketball number retired. In 2015, Foyle was named to the Patriot League 25th all-anniversary team in men's basketball.
